In a significant boost to its defense sector, Türkiye has seen five of its defense companies secure spots in the 2026 global Top 100 defense companies ranking. This development underscores the nation’s expanding capabilities in defense manufacturing and its growing presence in the international market. Among these companies, ASELSAN emerged as the highest-ranking Turkish entity, climbing to the 40th position from 43rd the previous year. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) followed at 48th, while ARCA Defense made its debut on the list at 53rd.
Roketsan also saw an upward movement, improving its rank from 71st to 64th, while MKE secured the 81st spot. Collectively, these five companies amassed approximately $14.9 billion in defense revenue in 2025. ASELSAN led with $4.46 billion, trailed by TAI with $3.65 billion, ARCA Defense with $3 billion, Roketsan with $2.37 billion, and MKE with $1.42 billion in revenue.
The surge in rankings and revenue can be attributed to the increasing global demand for Turkish defense products. Türkiye’s defense industry has been making strides in various sectors, including military electronics, aerospace, missile systems, ammunition, and other advanced technologies.
